Scott Gromer is the President & CEO of Mesa Natural Gas Solutions, leading all operations in procurement, manufacturing, process development, engineering, leasing, sales and field operations/maintenance of industrial prime power electrical generator sets. Mesa has exceeded industry growth standards and propelled Mesa to become the largest provider of natural gas prime power electrical generator sets in North American oil and gas fields. Scott retired as a Major in the Wyoming Army National Guard. Spanning 23 plus years of military service, he held numerous leadership positions including two unit commands, three deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as the S-3, Operations Officer, of a High Mobility Rocket System (HIMARS) Field Artillery Battalion. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota State University and an MBA from Colorado State University. In addition, he has completed multiple Non-Commissioned Officer Courses and Commissioned Officer Courses in the United States Army. A husband and father of five children, Scott enjoys family time, sports and all types of outdoor activities
Fred Fichtner is the Chief Operations Officer for Mesa Natural Gas Solutions. He is responsible for planning, coordinating, conducting all aspects of generator manufacturing, deployment, maintenance, logistics, training, service personnel, and customer support. Prior to joining Mesa, Fred served in the US Army and Army National Guard for over 24 years with several deployments, and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During Fred’s years in the Army National Guard, he owned and operated a Construction Company in the Denver Metro area. Fred graduated from the U.S. Army War College with an M.S. in Strategic Studies, and from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Range Management, and a BS in Soil Science. Fred is married with four children, two of whom serve in the U.S. Army. He enjoys outdoor recreational activities with his family, and several agricultural interests.
Michael Trott is the Chief Financial Officer for Mesa Natural Gas Solutions. Formerly the Controller, Michael is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting activities, financial reporting, internal controls, and ensuring Mesa is positioned to take advantage of growth opportunities. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Finance, has an MBA from Texas A&M University. Michael has work experience with global financial reporting, accounting, and auditing for a number of organizations, including ExxonMobil Corporation, True Oil Company, and Sprint Corporation. Additionally, he had the opportunity to own and operate a successful family-owned business in Casper, WY. He is married with three children and enjoys spending time with his family, dogs, cats, and goats.

TOM POTEET, P.E.
Tom Poteet is the Vice President of Corporate Development of Mesa Natural Gas Solutions. Tom’s purview in this role includes characterizing and casting the vision for the optimal use of natural gas powered generation, monitoring the innovation stream for future sources of site power, and development of customized rate plans and progressive field applications to meet customers' needs and financial preferences. With over 30 years in engineering, Tom’s career has given him experience in electric power, telecommunications, and oil field production. Tom graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Chris Piasecki leads all aspects of engineering and design of Mesa's self-manufactured generator sets. Chris enlisted in the WY Army National Guard in 1995, eventually earning his commission, serving two deployments, and retiring as a Major in 2016. He received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wyoming in 2000 and has worked in a variety of fields, including aircraft project design and structures analysis, handling of naval nuclear fuel, mobile maintenance on mining equipment, and as a mine electrician. Chris is married with 4 children. His hobbies include dreaming of hobbies to do once the kids move out.
For more than 20 years Colby has worked in nearly every aspect of our industry and operates with the highest level of integrity. He has worked with downhole and surface equipment, procedures, and designs. Colby has worked as a Construction, Maintenance, and Production Foreman. A strong point for Colby is that he also has experience as an Artificial Lift Specialist/Well Analyst. With such a comprehensive understanding of our what we do, Colby can answer many of your questions and relate to your needs.
Colby started working for his father's service companies being a welders helper when he was young. Over this time he learned the tools and vessels that make our industry tick. After college, Colby returned to his familiar fields and started at the ground floor as a pumper and has worked diligently to arrive as your next connection for Mesa Natural Gas Solutions. The Oil and Gas industry fascinates Colby; he loves learning more and more about the growing and changing industry we all enjoy. Colby is married with three children and he enjoys spending time ranching, riding and breaking horses.

Richard King is the Chief Maintenance Officer for Mesa Natural Gas Solutions. He handles policies and procedures for Maintenance in the shop and the field. Richard spent 25 years in the Wyoming National Guard as a traditional Soldier, his work involved working in the maintenance field as a mechanic and a maintenance Supervisor. Richard retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. He spent 23 years as a full-time mechanic and Supervising a Maintenance Shop for the Guard. Richard has numerous deployments including a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2009. He enjoys spending time with his family and hunting.
Ray Kent is the Director of Human Resources of Mesa Natural Gas Solutions and is responsible for overseeing all HR systems, employee relations, ensuring regulatory compliance, assessing staffing needs, hiring employees, and developing compensation plans. Prior to being named Director of Human Resources, Ray served as the Companies Corporate Recruiter, redefining company processes and standards resulting in a 25% increase in personnel strength. Before joining Mesa and after retiring from military service in the Army, Ray owned his own company that investigated Fraud for Wyoming Workforce Services. Ray retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after service 22 years of active duty service in the Army and Army National Guard. During that time, he held numerous leadership positions including 3-unit commands over a nine-year period including a combat command of an Infantry Embedded Training Brigade in Afghanistan. Some of Ray’s military assignments include serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Wyoming Army National Guard, Director of Military Personnel as well as assignments as a Battalion Executive Officer and Operational Officer. Ray graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and from the University of Wyoming with a Juris Doctorate degree, and a BS in Administration of Justice. Ray is married with three children, all of whom have graduated from or are currently attending the University of Wyoming. He and his family enjoy year-round outdoor recreational activities near their home in Centennial, Wyoming.
Zach Soukup is the Director of International Development for Mesa Natural Gas Solutions. He is responsible for commercial negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development, alliance development projects, and strategic issues. Zach has extensive multidisciplinary experience in a broad range of energy-focused engineering and business development roles. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana and is an alumnus of the Wyoming College of Business and College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where he earned his MBA and Master of Petroleum Engineering.
